That is the joke. It is also, for the moment, true: we stay small deliberately, and the systems we build for other people run enough of our own operation that nothing is currently hitting the floor. When something starts to, this page will say so.

A hire is a system like any other. It carries a cost to set up, a cost to run, and a return that somebody ought to be able to state before it starts. We put a client's automation through that test before we build it, and it would be a strange thing to exempt ourselves from. Right now the numbers do not clear.
The honest version is duller than the headline. Agents handle our scheduling, our first research passes and a fair amount of reporting. They do not do the part where somebody sits with an operations lead and works out what really happens on a Tuesday. There is not yet enough of that second thing to need another pair of hands, and it is the only part that was ever the job.

Sec. 02 / The first hire
[ A guess, not a posting ]
We have no posting and will not dress a guess up as one. If you want to know where we think the pressure lands first, here it is, and it is a guess.
Someone who can sit inside a business for a week and leave with a map that is actually true. An agent will happily draft one from the documents it is given. It cannot tell you which of those documents is fiction, and in most operations at least one of them is.
Someone who has put agents into a business that did not particularly want them, and kept them running six months later. Building the thing is the easy half. The half we would be hiring for is everything after it goes live.
Sec. 03 / What earns a reply

Something you built, that someone other than you used. A link is worth more than a paragraph about the link.
A number you can defend. What it cost, what it returned, and how you know that rather than assume it.
A time you told someone not to build the thing they asked for. This is the rarest one, and it is the one we would read twice.
Evidence you have read this page. A note addressed to the hiring team tells us you have not, since there is no hiring team.
